Master's

The Department trains Master’s degree students in the following specialties:

  • 1-41 80 02 “Technology and Equipment for Production of Semiconductors, Materials, and Devices of Electronic Technology”;
  • 1-48 80 06 “Technology of Electrochemical Processes and Corrosion Protection”.

General characteristics of the specialty 1-41 80 02 “Technology and Equipment for Production of Semiconductors, Materials, and Devices of Electronic Technology”

In accordance with OKRB 011-2009, this specialty belongs to the profile of education “1 Technique and Technology”, areas of education “41 Components and Equipment”. Master’s degree students of this specialty get scientific degree of PhD (Engineering).

Training in the magistracy provides full-time (day) and correspondence courses. The standard term of studies is 1 year for full-time Master’s degree students and 1, 5 year for part-time Master’s degree students.

Requirements to the level of basic education for Master’s degree students

Those who start their magistracy training course should be University graduates with the degree in one of the following specialties:

1-48 01 01 “Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances, Materials, and Articles”

  • 31 04 “Physical Sciences”,
  • 36 04 “Radio Electronics”,
  • 38 01 “Instruments of General Purpose”,
  • 39 01 “Scheming of Electronic Devices and Systems”,
  • 39 02 “Design of Radioelectronic Facilities”,
  • 41 01 “Radio-, Micro- and Nanoelectronic Equipment”,
  • 53 01 “Automation of Technological Processes, Production and Management”,
  • 54 01 “Metrology, Standardization and Certification. Technical Diagnostics”,  
  • 55 01 “Intelligent Systems”.

Persons with higher education of the first stage in other specialties participate in the competition. In this case, they necessarily pass additional examinations in academic disciplines, the list of which is determined by the institution of higher education in accordance with the recommendations of the educational and methodological association for education in the field of Computer Science and Radio Electronics.

The objects of professional activity of the Master are:

  • technology and equipment of microelectronic production;
  • technology and equipment of electronic media production;
  • design and production technology of electronic devices;
  • production technologies for materials and semiconductors in electronics and related fields;
  • educational and methodological support of specialists training in technologies and equipment of production of materials and devices of electronic equipment.

Master must be prepared for the development of the educational program of the graduate school (postgraduate studies), mainly in the following fields:

  1. The level of basic education of persons entering the second stage of higher education is the higher education of the first stage in the specialty 1-48 01 04 “Technology of Electrochemical Production”.
  2. Persons with higher education of the first stage in other specialties participate in the competition. In this case, they necessarily pass additional examinations in academic disciplines, the list of which is determined by the institution of higher education in accordance with the recommendations of the educational and methodological association for education in the field of Chemistry and Engineering.

  • technological processes of application of metal and oxide coatings by electrochemical and chemical methods;
  • installations and devices for carrying out electrochemical and chemical processes; devices and methods of research of properties of the put coverings in production and commercial, research and educational institutions.
