The study of print technology covers the whole area of applied communications engineering from text and image processing, print preparation (print copy/print form production – plate, screen, cylinder), the printing process and, finally, the finishing. In the more advanced semesters studies concentrate either on process engineering. The graduate program focuses on reproduction and composition technology, the production of print forms, printing and finishing processes, the production and application of packaging materials of all kinds (paper, cardboard, film).
