Liquid crystal, anisotropic materials are used for the creation and production of a variety of display and information processing devices based on anisotropic media.
Description: Liquid crystal materials for variety (ferroelectric or nematic) of display and information processing devices have been designed on the basis of new approaches to the synthesis of liquid crystal and anisotropic compounds. New technology of anisotropic compounds and materials on their basis with a wide range of practical use have been offered.
The developed technology of anisotropic materials has following advantages in comparison with known:
- reactants, solvents, catalysts, etc. are accessible and cheap;
- synthetic scheme is shorter for 2-3 stage and allows to receive end LCD and anisotropic compound with a high yield;
- technology can be used for producing a variety of anisotropic compounds and materials on their basis with a wide range of practical use.
